“Chocolate Chip” Cookie Dough Protein Balls

“Chocolate Chip” Cookie Dough Protein Balls

Healthy eating doesn’t have to be complicated! The simpler the better for forming and sustaining good, healthy habits. Ready to take action?

INGREDIENTS:

-2.5 cups organic fine, blanched almond flour

-1/2 cup Wavelength Vanilla Protein Powder or Wavelength Chocolate Protein Powder

-1/2 cup organic, unrefined coconut oil, melted

-1/2 cup organic maple syrup or other sweetener (such as agave, monkfruit syrup, coconut nectar, honey)

-2 heaping tbsp. cashew butter or other nut butter

-pinch of Himalayan pink salt

-dash of organic ceylon cinnamon

optional: add 1/4 to 1/2 cup organic cacao nibs or chocolate chips

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Mix together melted coconut oil and sweetener.

  2. Mix in cashew butter until well mixed.

  3. Mix in almond flour/protein powder until well combined.

  4. Add pinch of salt and dash of cinnamon.

  5. Stir in cacao nibs.

  6. Roll into balls and place on parchment paper or press into a bar mold.

  7. Sprinkle more salt on top if desired.

  8. Freeze until hard, about 2-3 hours.

  9. ENJOY!

Makes 8 bars or approximately 24 balls.

*can add 1 more serving of protein powder
