Sometimes we just don’t have the time in the morning. These muffins in a mug are a great solution for those hectic mornings or snack-on-the-go and can be made in under 5 minutes! We provided 2 simple ways to make these muffins; however, change it up and elevate this recipe and experiment with additional mix-ins of your choice!

Protin Muffins in a Mug

2 Ways!

Healthy eating doesn’t have to be complicated! The simpler the better for forming and sustaining good, healthy habits. Ready to take action?

INGREDIENTS:

-1 scoop Wavelength Chocolate Protein Powder or Wavelength Vanilla Protein Powder

-1/2 cup rolled oats (instant or regular)

-1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce or mashed banana

-1/4 cup plant-based or other milk for Vanilla protein muffin or 1/3 cup plant-based milk for Chocolate protein muffin

-1-2 tbsp. agave or other sweetener (based on preference)

-1/4 tsp. baking powder

-1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon

-1 egg

-pinch of Himalayan pink salt

-For Chocolate Protein muffin- sprinkle in chocolate chips

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Mix all ingredients together in a mug.

  2. Microwave for approx. 2.5 minutes.

  3. Let Cool.

  4. ENJOY!

Additional options include adding nuts, bananas, peanut butter, apples.
